Japanese lifestyle brand Miniso coming to Santa Ana, growing in Southern California
Japanese lifestyle brand Miniso is making its way to Santa Ana. The store is scheduled to open this summer in MainPlace Mall on the ground level near Macy’s.
Most products cost $2 to $20. The store carries Asian snack foods, cosmetics, electronics and more. It launches new products every seven days.
It opened its first store in the U.S. in April in Pasadena. It also plans to open stores in Lakewood and Santa Monica.
“Orange County is an ideal location for Miniso. Many of our locations around the world are located in malls. Our strategy to grow quickly includes our relationships with mall operators such as Westfield, who can help us find the right location in many different cities,” the company said in a statement.
Miniso was founded in 2013 and has since grown to more than 1,800 stores worldwide.
The company said it is opening 80 to 100 stores every month. By 2020, it will open 6,000 new stores.
Miniso has revenue of $9 billion.
